The second half of the season started on Saturday as Taysha Pye and Gran Canaria kept Azkoitia winless 95-64.  Sunday started with an overtime game as Zaragoza edged Gernika 76-75 to pull even with them for the last playoff place.  New look Girona escaped CREF with a 58-56 win.  Gipuzkoa won 55-48 at Zamarat to keep their opponents thinking about the danger zone.  Cadi La Seu beat Bembibre 80-51 as both teams entered the game thinking about a late run for the playoffs.  Avenida kept themselves firmly in first place as a balanced effort helped them beat Conquero 66-59.  Promete left Ferrol in the second to last place slot with a 77-73 win.
