On Saturday, Artego Bydgoszcz had a stunningly easy time with Polkowice to seize second place 80-44. Another battle between teams in direct competition in the standings saw Sleza Wroclaw beat Gdynia 71-65 to pull into fourth place. Angel Goodrich led Gorzow to a 58-47 win over Poznan as both teams try to avoid the bottom of the standings. Energa Torun was able to sneak past Marta Urbaniak and Widzew Lodz 66-63. On Sunday, Leah Metcalf led Lublin to an 80-63 win over a Siedlce team fielding no foreigners. Shannon McCallum and Aishah Sutherland nearly led Zaglebie Sosnowiec to an upset, but Yvonne Turner’s heroics helped Wisla Krakow stay in control of first place with a 75-67 win.
