The Korean League will start their all-star break following the game on Thursday. The all-star game will be played on Sunday January 17th and the regular season games will resume on Wednesday January 20th. All foreigners will participate in the all-star game with Shinhan Bank, KB Stars and Samsung teaming up together while Hana, Woori and KDB will play together. Korean players are voted in by the fans.
There was one final game before the all star break. Shinhan Bank who until today were on a six game losing streak took on Plenette Pierson and KDB at home. After the head coach at Shinhan resigned earlier in the week, the first assistant took over the head coaching duties. This proved to make a difference as Shinhan controlled the entire game. KDB came out in the second half with a full court press that forced Shinhan into several turnovers but KDB was never able to cut to far into the lead.
