The Korean league resumed play after their all-star break in which the combo of Shinhan Bank, KB Stars and Samsung defeated the combination of the other three teams 84-89. This first game after the break was between KB Stars and first placed Woori Bank. KB played an excellent first half where they took a lead into the half 35-26. Woori was able to cut the lead a little in the third but it was the fourth quarter that KB let the game slip away. Stricklen had an amazing fourth quarter where she erupted for 16 points and stole the win on KB’s home court. KEB needed overtime to defeat Samsung in what was a battle for a playoff position. KDB looked like they were on their way to a win until last minute heroics from KB crushed those dreams and KB handed them their 18th loss of the season. New look Shinhan Bank went into KEB Hana and had their way for most of the game. After a slow start Shinhan picked up the pace and by the third quarter were up by 20 points at one point. KEB made a comeback in the fourth but they soon ran out of time and Shinhan took home the win and put themselves back in the playoff hunt.
