Israeli League Round 14 January 18th

January 19, 2016 by Andrew

It was the conclusion of the double round robin in Israel on Monday.  Alyssa Baron and Brittany Hrynko traded baskets throughout the game but it was Baron who came out on top and led Ramat Hasharon to a 76-61 win over Hapoel Petah Tikva.  Maccabi Ashdod continues to show how dangerous in might be at full strength as they have only used up two of the foreign player slots in an easy 95-59 win over Shamela Hampton and ASA Jerusalem.  Bnot Hertzeliya was led by the duo of Keisha Hampton and Jasmine Thomas as they finished in second after an 84-69 win at Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion.  The day’s leading performance from Jamierra Faulkner was not enough for Elitzur Holon as they still lost 87-86 to Rebekkah Gardner and clear league leaders Maccabi Ramat Hen.
