Elizabeth Cambage made her return, but it was Tina Charles and Peng Shiqeng that led Xinjiang to a 91-73 win over Huang Jing, Wei Yuchun, and Shanghai. They ended the day in first place because Beijing played again without Sylvia Fowles, losing in overtime 71-66 at Guangdong as Yelena Leuchanka and Huang Sijing had nobody to stop them in the interior and Shao Ting’s scoring was not enough.
