Placements were already decided heading into the final day of games. Elizabeth Cambage encountered no resistance from Beijing as she led Shanghai to a 79-64 win. An absence of foreign players in the other game let the domestic players thrive in advance of the playoffs. Hua Linwang, Wang Lili, and Zhang Xiaoni led Xinjiang to an 86-80 win over Zhu Lin, Huang Sijin, and Guangdong.

A battle between teams appearing to be more focused on the playoffs saw Shenyang beat Shanxi 68-58. Bayi jumped into second place with an 89-69 win over Liaoning as the visitors seemed more preoccupied with their critical upcoming series for the last spot in the championship playoffs.

Jiangsu edged Heilongjiang 70-67 as both teams start thinking about what they need to do to keep their clubs in the league next season. Henan may have been preparing for the series to determine the final entrant into the playoffs, but they were clearly still trying to win as Huang Pinzhen and Cheyenne Parker played heavy minutes in an 84-80 loss to Shandong.
