turkeyOn Saturday, Samsun kept Botas in last place with a 78-72 win although Milica Jovanovic had a good game.  The other game was a wild one, going into double overtime before Yakin Dogu University won 104-99 against Hatay.  Tiffany Hayes and Kelsey Bone led the way in the win, but Natalie Hurst was the round’s leading scorer.  On Sunday, Besiktas stunned Fenerbahce 74-68 despite another big scoring game from Allie Quigley.  Angel McCoughtry got help from her Atlanta Dream teammate Aneika Henry as she led Mersin past Gelistirenler 79-73.  Abdullah Gul University is now all alone in first place after beating Orduspor 88-70.  Istanbul University beat Adana 80-63 as the duo of Elizabeth Williams and Tan White were too much despite a strong performance from Erika De Souza.  Galatasaray won at Edirnspor 69-64 even though Ivory Latta had a solid effort.
