The schedule in the Russian League is scrambled for the next few weeks with multiple competitions and the holidays being juggled, but there were four games on Sunday. Elena Volkova led Chevakata to an 85-80 win at Spartak Noginsk. The most anticipated game was in Orenburg, where the two unbeatens battled and UMMC used the inside advantage of Sandrine Gruda and Brittney Griner to beat Nadezhda 75-64. Dynamo Kursk rested players, but not Endene Miyem, in their 82-53 win over Kazanochka. Spartak Moscow won 96-85 at MBA as the inside presence of Maria Vadeeva and Emma Messeeman could not be stopped.
