WKBL/Samsung

Samsung got their second win in a row defeating an outmanned Hana Bank. Charde Houston, the leagues leading scorer is still out due to injury and has now missed the last two games.  Hana played Samsung close in the first half as they were only down by two points but the Blue Minx pulled away in the second half outscoring Hana 48 to 26.

Shinhan Bank started the game off playing very well. They moved the ball and made open shots. They took a commanding 37-28 lead into the half.  The second half was a different story. Woori Bank won the third quarter 27 to 8! Their pressure was too much for Shinhan who kept turning the ball over. Shinhan finished the game with 14 turnovers. Shinhan Bank won the fourth quarter by one but the damage had already been done.

Shinhan Bank S-Birds vs. Woori Bank 59-68 SHI Currie 11/6/4 (14min) Gatling 14/7 (25min)  WOO Goodlet 11/7/1 (19min) Stricklen 12/7 (21min)

Samsung seems to have found their rhythm and have now won their third game in a row after defeating KDB Winnus Saturday afternoon. The game was tied at the half and still tied after the third quarter. It was in the fourth that Samsung was able to pull away where they held KDB to only 8 points in the quarter. Pierson who eventually fouled out ended with another strong game in double figures. The foreigners have been fouling out of the games a lot lately as Korean referees seems to not give them much slack with aggressive play. Mosby fouled out of her game this week as well.

Samsung Vs. Winnus KDB 57-48 SAM Stokes 4/9 (25min) Harris 11/2/1 (14min)  KDB Pierson 23/8/2 (27min) Baugh 4/4 (12min)
