Round 2 began this week with Samsung taking on KB Stars at home. Desperate for a win, KB Stars finally got back in the win column after only winning one game in the first round. KB dominated most of the game but Samsung made a ferocious run in the fourth quarter winning 20-12. Hamby had a monstrous game which kept Samsung from coming out with the win on their home court.

League leading Woori Bank headed to Guri to take on KDB at their home gym. Woori was dominant for the entire game giving KDB no chance to get back in the game. The rebounding difference was 45-26 in Woori’s favor. Stricklen lead Woori bank with 27 points. Pierson who has been the leading scorer for KDB so far this season was held to just 2 points.

Still playing without Charde Houston Hana has been able to pick up back to back wins. Hana went into halftime up 29-17. Samsung had a much better second half losing the third by one point and winning the fourth by 8. Despite Samsung’s second half efforts Hana was able to hang onto the lead and come out with the win.

The last game of this week needed overtime to decide its winner. Shinhan Bank who lost their last three games were desperate for a win. The game was close throughout with the lead changing between the two teams. Shinhan bank headed into the half up by one point. After three Shinhan was up by 7 but KB didn’t give up. They fought back and hit a huge three to tie the game and send it into overtime. Shinhan won the extra period by three and took home the win.
