Round 7 was rescheduled to the next open date, but Round 8 went on as planned. Mondeville edged Nantes 64-63 in a battle of Plouffe sisters, but it was one of the other Canadians who led the way as Kim Gaucher drove her team to the win. Lattes Montpellier had to make a big personnel change, but rolled past Toulouse 73-33. Charleville beat Nice 79-71 and Bourges beat Hainaut 88-66. In the lower half of the standings, Lyon won at Angers 74-67. Calais finally got their first win of the season 80-77 over Arras. Villeneuve just managed to stay unbeaten by escaping Landes 60-59.
